Sâmila Monteiro is a postgraduate student in Global Dynamics: Geopolitics, Risk Management, and New Opportunities, holds a law degree, and is a liberal activist. Since 2023, she has served as Chief of Staff at the Porto Alegre City Council. In the same year, she led the reactivation of the Rio Grande do Sul branch. She was awarded by LOLA Brazil in 2024 for her work in the María Oropeza case, leading an action at the IACHR that supported the UN report on crimes against humanity. She also coordinated her congressman's winning campaign.
